he
traditionally styled hotel "Palazzo di Pietro" is
located in the picturesque laneways of the Old Town of
Chania, close to the grand Metropolis church.
The
building dates back to approximately the year 1200 – the period
when the Venetians occupied the island of Crete. It was
built and resided in by the aristocratic family "Renier" of
which the owners of the hotel are descendants.
The
wear and tear which had occurred with the passing of time
to
the premises, has been painstakingly restored to its
original Venetian style. This restoration was conducted
with the
utmost respect to the tradition and history of the
building, with an aim to give guests a glimpse of our cultural
heritage.
