Palazzo di Pietro, Traditional Venetian Hotel, Old Town Chania, Crete, Greece
|
Our hotel building was constructed in the early 13th century and has been in the same family. We finished renovating the building in 2002 in the original Venetian style. Master craftsmen repaired and remade the balcony metalwork, hardwood floors and ceilings as in the original Venetian style. The small icon shop on the ground floor is also owned and run by the family. Icons from this shop are among the best and are in high demand.
